Vodacom is advertising a hard-capped broadband service as uncapped, which is against the Internet Service Providers Association's "Guidelines and Recommendations on Broadband Terminology".

Rain founder and director Michael Jordaan revealed that it would launch country-wide mobile services. Speaking on PSG Think Big, Jordaan said they would start with 4G, but it will ultimately also include 5G services.

Vodacom says it will discontinue its uncapped 4G and 5G products following criticism about implementing hard caps on these services.

Amazon has delayed its South African marketplace launch until the end of the year, a well-placed source told Daily Investor. Amazon planned to launch a marketplace in South Africa in February 2023 and secured warehouse space for its operations.
